Eve Taylor Fusion Facial – using Silhouette Dermatone / Galvanic & Frequency Devices

Galvanic
Set up your galvanic machine in preparation to clients arrival. With black wire inserted into the indifferent electrode and red wires inserted into the pincette. When using pincette, ensure the sponge is wet.

1. Thoroughly cleanse the skin using Purifying Wash foamed with water. Rinse with damp sponges and wipe over the skin with Purifying Toner on a cotton disk to further degrease the skin.

2. Dispense Pre-extraction Gel into a suitable bowl, add a small amount of water and whisk into a rich fluffy foam. Continue to apply to the skin using a dabbing action (do not paint on).

3. Ensure sponge or gauze around the indifferent electrode is sufficiently damp and hand to your client. Make them aware that they must keep hold of the electrode at all times. In some cases the electrode can be placed under the shoulder of a client, however check your insurers preference.

4. Ensure the machine is set to zero and switch the polarity to Negative (–) this will ensure a negative charge is running to your pincette in order for desincrustation to take place.

5. When using the pincette, make contact with your clients skin and keep them moving, turn the machine and on slowly increase the output dial. Do this until your client feels a slight tingling sensation. The output should be no lower than 0.5mA and no higher than 1.5mA (lower for a sensitive skin and higher for an oily skin. Always in line with client comfort.)

At no time should you hold the rollers static or break contact with the clients skin, you must always lower the intensity back to zero, whilst keeping the rollers/ pincette moving, before breaking contact.

6. Desincrustation should take place for 3-5 minutes (less on a sensitive skin, more on a resilient or oily skin), work methodically all over the clients face, neck and décolletage.

You may want to focus on areas of congestion to deep cleanse, be sure not to break contact

7. At the end of the allocated time, keep pincette moving, whilst turning the output down to zero. Turn your machine off, before breaking contact.

8. Remove Pre-extraction Gel with damp sponges and continue to perform extractions using preferred method (optional). Follow by dispensing Post-extraction Solution to a cotton disk and blot over the extracted area.

9. Ensure you remove excess product from your galvanic rollers and switch the machine to Positive

(+) to perform Iontophoresis. At this point, also check that the gauze or sponge surrounding the indifferent electrode is still sufficiently damp and again hand back to your client.

10. Apply the appropriate Response Serum or Age Resist Serum specific to skin concern (you may patch work on different areas of concern):

General skin boost and tonic – Oxygen Response Serum
Pigmentation and skin illumination– Pigment Response Serum
Oiliness and congestion – Sebum Response Serum
Lines and wrinkles in areas of expression – Timeline Response Serum
Dehydrated skin – Hydrating Serum
Dull and lacklustre skin – Brightening Serum
Loss of firmness and tone – Firming Serum

Upon application of chosen serum, followed with a generous a layer of Electro Gel.

11. When applying the facial rollers, make contact with your clients skin and keep them moving, turn the machine on and slowly increase the output dial. Do this until your client feels a slight tingling sensation. The output should be no lower than 0.5mA and no higher than 1.5mA (lower for a sensitive skin and higher for a resilient skin. Always in line with client comfort).

At no time should you hold the rollers static or break contact with the clients skin, you must always lower the intensity back to zero, whilst keeping the rollers moving before breaking contact

12. Iontophoresis should take place for 5-7 minutes (less on a sensitive skin, more on a resilient skin), work methodically all over the clients face, neck and décolletage. You may want to focus on areas of concern to push the active ingredients into the areas which need the most attention.

13. At the end of the allocated time, keep rollers, whilst turning the output down to zero. Turn your machine off, before breaking contact.

14. Remove product thoroughly from the skin using damp sponges, hot mitts or towels. Clean the rollers. Remove the indifferent electrode from the clients hand.

High Frequency

1.  Attach the electrode and turn the machine on to introduce your client to the sound/glow of the electrode.

 2. Thoroughly cleanse the clients skin, if using post galvanic, ensure any Electro Gel or conductive product is removed.

3. Oily, congested or breakout prone skin:
Apply Sebum Response Serum to the skin. Purifying Spot Gel may be applied to individual breakouts (optional). Apply a sheet of dry gauze over the entire face, alternatively wrap the electrode in gauze.

Dry or mature skin:
Apply Oxygen Response Serum to the skin, follow with a generous application of Massage Cream to the full face and neck.

 4. Place your finger onto the glass electrode, turn the machine on and increase the intensity to around 25% of the machines power.

5. Place the glass electrode in contact with the client’s skin, remove your finger and move in a circular motion over the entire treatment area.

6. You may wish to increase the intensity of the power, do this in line with client comfort, no higher than 50%

7. Keep the glass electrode moving and continue for 8-15 minutes; less time for dry/sensitive skins, more for oily/breakout prone skin.

8. While keeping the glass electrode moving, reduce the power and switch off the machine, before breaking contact. (You may wish to apply your finger to the probe and remove in the same manner as you applied it). Thoroughly remove Massage Cream if used.

9. Perform Eve Taylor Drainage Massage technique using Clearing Aromatic Serum for oily, congested or breakout prone skin, or Revitalising Aromatic Serum for dry or mature skin.

10. Blot any residual Aromatic Serum with tissue and continue to apply suitable masque:
Dry or mature: Anti-oxidant Masque or Cryogenic Peel-off Masque

Oily or congested skin: Purifying Masque or Clarifying Peel-off Masque

11. Remove the masque, tone and moisturise. Finalise with appropriate SPF.
